Chair yoga is a supportive and accessible way to stay fit and mobile, without needing to get up and down from the floor. These gentle classes use a chair for support and include carefully designed movements to strengthen the whole body.

We begin with gentle exercises for the head, neck, and shoulders, gradually building intensity. Classes may include standing postures to support balance, breathwork, and a guided relaxation at the end.

Benefits include:

  • Gentle, supportive movement

  • Improved flexibility and mobility

  • Increased strength and resilience

  • Better balance and confidence

  • A friendly, welcoming community

This class is ideal for:

  • Complete beginners

  • Those returning to yoga after injury or illness

  • People in older or less mobile bodies

  • Desk bound workers

  • Anyone wanting to move in new, nourishing and supportive ways

"Thanks so much Sophie. Your class has been important to me as it made me realise I am capable of more than I thought. I am now back in the gym after a decade away. Thank you."
